“When we found out we were pregnant, we struggled to find the right avenue for our birth. We didn’t know a thing about midwifery and were a little uneasy about birthing with a midwife. That all changed when we met Natanya. She was my “other partner” during our birth and helped me in ways I’ll never be able to thank her enough for. She was calm, encouraging, and pushed me to become the strong and empowered woman I needed to be.” ~ Martha Bogart, NH

The Midwives Model of Care:

  1. Monitoring the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the mother throughout the childbearing cycle.
  2. Providing the mother with individualized education, counseling, and prenatal care.
  3. Continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, and postpartum support.
  4. Minimizing technological interventions
  5. Identifying women who require obstetrical attention and referring them.
