Before enrolling, make sure you are aware of the responsibilities of post-docs, instructors, and academic departments or units, as outlined in the terms of your letter of agreement. These conditions include the policy on leave, appointment period and remuneration. If any of the above documents expire during the academic year, you will only be registered until that expiry date, until a new document is provided. New documents should be sent by e-mail to post-docrecords [at] mcgill.ca. Post-doc leaders should be aware of the guiding principles and best practices relevant to post-doc advice. Facilitators must work with their unit and the postdoc to design the conditions for confirmation of the postdoc by letter of offer/agreement.
